"I have loved the opportunity that this program has given me to learn about natural cooking. It has opened up such a great new aspect to food and nutrition. I have learned so much about food, cooking, nutrition and health, of which I knew very little or nothing about a year ago!

I have also loved getting to know such a wonderful group of people, as well as the many helpers and Christine. Christine has such a kind soul, a pleasant manner and such an intense desire to teach others about her passion, which natural cooking truly is. It is infectious and I just love cooking with Christine. I learn something new each time! How wonderful to meet so many people that share the same vision and are so enthusiastic about it!

Personally, I have benefited greatly, not just with a better nutritional outlook and cooking skills, but because I have gained a new path, a new direction, a neew career and a new future. Christine and the school have truly been a blessing. Thank you SO much!"

- Jill Dionne

"I really appreciated the amount of thought, time and knowledge put into creating a program that provides a combination of hand-on experience, lecture and tools to be successful as a better home chef or public chef or to just learn how to live a healthier lifestyle for yourself and loved ones.

The program has benefited me personally by expanding my skill level, confidence in working with my clients and the public. I appreciated sharing an experience with wonderful people who I looked forward to seeing and working with each weekend that we had class.

I am just so impressed by the program."

- Joyce Rosenblum

"How can I possibly put into words how this class has benefited me and how much I appreciate it? I LOVED this program. It was very thorough, accessible, non-threatening (for any cooking novices) and life-altering! I could never have anticipated how much I adored this course and how much it has impacted my family and I.

I signed up for the program with the desire to become a better cook for my family and I finished it with such an increase in knowledge, confidence, and passion for cooking (something I would never have believed)! Christine is an amazing teacher and mentor and has developed a rocking program. I feel as if this program gave me my wings. Even when we started with basic knife skills, Christine was patient and encouraging. I feel confident in planning, preparing and making practically any meal, and my family loves this! They are now so spoiled and have truly benefited the most, so thank you from all of us Heimanns!"

- Lara Heimann

"I appreciated that everyone - Christine, the assistants, and the other students - were all there to support each others' learning. I feel I had access to people who could answer questions from real experience, not just book knowledge. Each cookbook I got (in the monthly goodie bags) was one I would have never bought yet all of them have recipes I will always use now. The program opened my eyes to all the people around me who want to change how they eat, not just in class but from me mentioning that I was doing this many people talked about their path to better food!"

- Dann Connelly

"Christine Waltermyer came into my life when I needed her most. I was an out-of-control mother of two small children living on caffeine and sugar to get me through the day. Looking for a better way, I happened to take a cooking class at my local health food store and immediately knew I had found what I was searching for, whole foods. I was thrilled to find out about Christine’s school and immediately enrolled. My certification as a Natural Foods Chef has allowed me to have a new career as a personal chef and cooking instructor. I am so happy that I can finally do what I am passionate about and still have the flexibility to spend time with my family. I am a better person, leading a more balanced, less stressed and more peaceful life."

- Mary Flynn, Operations Director for Natural Kitchen Cooking School

"I graduated from the Natural Kitchen Cooking School in 2006, and loved my experience in the Natural Chefs Training Program. As an artist, I now have more awareness of food and it’s impact upon my moods and feelings. I have found more balance in my diet, and this is just the beginning. My sugar cravings have always been strong and I realized that eating grains helps me to feel more balanced and stable. I have learned to use other foods such as cabbage and carrots, and different sweeteners such as maple and brown rice syrups to help manage my sugar cravings. As a Shiatsu massage therapist, the cooking skills I learned, together with the bodywork, create a beautiful synergy for my clients, who seek a holistic approach to a balanced life. It is an exciting experience to listen to the body and fine tune it!"

- Johanna Schwarzbeck, Shiatsu Massage Therapist

"I started this program looking for a way to incorporate more whole foods into my diet. That’s all. What I got out of it was a wonderful feeling of appreciation and wonder that arrives when you stop and think of yourself as part of the energy of the universe, and try to be kind to yourself and that universe. I am now calmer, kinder, more balanced and more mindful of the choices I make. I don’t get frazzled as quickly. I’m more patient towards people and more aware of my surroundings. I feel lighter and my I have even become more able to consistently exercise. As a result of all of these changes, I am a healthier person. This class has awakened a deeper self-intuition. I am so grateful I was a part of this program."
