This is so easy and fun to make. It's a great way to use up leftover nuts and seeds in your pantry!



1/2 cup raw almonds

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

3 or 4 cups water

1 soft pitted date


Soak the almonds and sunflower seeds in water to cover overnight.

The next day, strain the nuts and seeds. Place them in a blender with 3 cups fresh water. Add the date. Blend for 1 or 2 minutes, until creamy. Strain through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh strainer. Enjoy fresh and store any leftover milk in the refrigerator for 5 days or so.
