  • 1⁄2 cup water
  • 1 3⁄4 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp holy basil powder
  • 1 tsp honey/agave/maple syrup (optional)


  1. Bring the water to a boil with all the powders, add the milk and allow it to boil gently.
  2. Sieve the drink if you prefer.
  3. Add honey or agave or maple syrup if you like.
  4. Enjoy as a hot beverage or at room temperature as a morning drink or just before going to bed for a restful night.
