French Toast


Fluffy sourdough French toast is a delicious breakfast treat any morning.


  • 5 - 6 slices sourdough bread, cut 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 pasture-raised eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Avocado oil
  • Maple Syrup

Optional: Powdered sugar


In a bowl, combine the eggs, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt. Whisk until fully combined.

Dip your bread slices thoroughly in the mixture until it is coated well. Heat a cast iron or nonstick skillet on medium heat, brush with your choice of high heat oil.

Fry 3 to 4 slices on your skillet at a time for a couple of minutes on each side, until golden brown. Top with maple syrup, and sprinkle with optional powdered sugar. Now it's ready to serve!
