Description
A homemade hummus recipe without tahini is still quite delicious. Use pumpkin seed butter to maintain that rich creaminess.
Ingredients
13 ounces cooked chickpeas (I used canned)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup pumpkin seed butter
¼ cup chopped parsley
¼ cup sliced scallions
3 tablespoons water
Instructions
Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve with your favorite raw veggies like carrots, celery and sliced cucumber.
