  1. Soak the dried mushrooms in the water for 30 minutes, or until they are soft.
  2. Finely chop the mushrooms.
  3. In a medium sized pot, place the mushrooms and the soaking water. Gently bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to simmer on low, covered, for 15 minutes.
  4. Add the sea salt or soy sauce toward the end, and cook for a few more minutes.  Strain and drink warm.
