How it Works

1. Book
First, contact us to get a quote and schedule a free complimentary call with Christine, so we can discuss your cooking needs. Following your call, we will propose chef candidates for your review. After choosing a chef, the introduction is made and we schedule a cooking day.

2. Cook
Your chef will confirm a menu with you, shop and arrive at your home with fresh ingredients. Next, we cook healthy, delicious meals for you. Depending on the service you choose, your chef will either store the meals in containers for reheating or your chef will serve you freshly prepared meals.

3. Enjoy!
Now all you need to do is sit back and enjoy eating wholesome meals prepared by a pro. Of course, we will ask for your feedback to provide you with perfect menus for you to enjoy every week. Wasn’t that easy?

Weekly Meal Prep or Daily Private Chef Service
Our personal chefs can provide two different types of service to make your life simple.

WEEKLY MEAL PREP
With weekly meal prep personal chef service, your personal chef will prepare meals for you to reheat and enjoy to last several days. Your food containers will be labeled with a suggested use by date and reheating instructions. Daily rates begin at $400 per day.

DAILY PRIVATE CHEF SERVICE
Treat yourself to our luxurious daily private chef service. One of our chefs will become your dedicated chef, either with accommodations you provide or as a live-out full time chef. We will cover your cooking needs on a full time basis, making your life simple. Rates begin at a minimum of $500 per day.

How do I hire a personal chef?
- First, look at sample menus. This will provide insight into the personal chef's style of cooking. A sample menu is not always an indication that the chef will prepare only those types of foods.
- Next, check out their food photos. Do the images look appetizing? How are the presentation skills? Food photos give you a sense of a chef's cooking style and are a preview of their work.
- Review their resume. A personal chef's résumé gives you a glimpse into their culinary career and their experience. Set up an interview and ask questions like their experience with certain dishes and their flexibility with different kinds of seasonings to suit your taste preferences. Discuss your budget and anything else you might think of.
- Finally, set a trial day. If the first three steps go well, it's time to set up a trial day, where the chef comes to your home and prepares a meal for you, and you get to find out how their food tastes. Before this happens, make sure you agree on the portions, buying of groceries, and if your kitchen has what they need to prepare the food.

What does a personal chef do?
A personal chef prepares at-home meals for you.
With weekly meal service there is no formal meal served or minimal meal service involved. The chef may serve one fresh meal while they are there, but the remaining prepared meals will be packaged for reheating later.
To begin with, the chef customizes a meal plan according to your dietary needs and preferences. Next, they shop for the ingredients and prepare the meals. Finally, they package, label, and store the prepared food in your refrigerator or freezer and clean up the kitchen after they’re done.If you prefer to have all of your meals plated and served by your chef, this is considered private chef service. What is the difference between a private and personal chef?
While the training and professional requirements for both private chefs and personal chefs are the same, there are some key differences between the two roles.
A Personal Chef prepares meals for multiple clients within a week, rather than cooking for only one client. A personal chef will prepare those meals either in the client’s kitchen or a commercial kitchen. The prepared meals are labeled with reheating instructions and stored in the refrigerator. This type of meal prep service happens from one to three times per week. The chef is responsible for preparing either some of the meals for the week or all of the meals for the week for a client.
A Private Chef, on the other hand, is employed full time by a single household. A private chef cooks breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks on a daily basis. Private chefs either live on the premises in accommodations provided by their employer, or they live off the premises. Private chefs are considered part of the household staff.
How much does it cost to hire your own chef?
Hourly rates for a personal chef can range from $45 to $85. The daily rate for weekly meal service averages from $100 to $450.
Our personal chef service weekly meal service rates begin at $400, plus groceries.
Private chef service daily rates begin at $550 per day depending on the service.
