    Introduction to Vegetables and How to choose the Best Produce

    According to the Harvard School of Public Health, eating a diet that is rich in vegetables and fruits has many benefits to your health, including preventing some types of cancer, lowered blood pressure.

    Did you know?

    At least nine different families of fruits and vegetables exist, each with potentially hundreds of different plant compounds that are beneficial to health.

    That’s why it’s important to eat a mix of different types of to give your body what it needs. Plus the color mix of different fruits and veggies makes for aesthetically appealing meals.

    Let’s identify the different kinds of veggies that you might encounter in your local grocery store and how you should select and store them.
